Welcome to SubtleDigs!

Our team has experience in a wide range of industries from military, aerospace, energy, refining, renewables, fabrication and construction.  We have been around a bit.  We also have extensive experience in the back country in the climbing and mountaineering world as well as hunting.  Our fishing department is woefully lacking due to a serious deficit in knowledge and luck.  We are not quite sure how to fix this problem, but are open to suggestions.    

Understanding how things work is built into our nature.  Engineering is a  disciplined mindset.  We are taught to be able to prove everything by the fundamental laws of physics.  When you combine this with artistic flare and the ability to make things, you really have a powerful skill set.

Our minimalist mindset is bred from much time spent in the backcountry and traveling around the world with everything on your back and carried many miles.  This experience has a way of shaping your view of what is essential.  We try and bring that experience to bear in our brand.  

We’re always looking for better ways to get things done – sometimes it’s a better design, sometimes it’s a different or more fun way to accomplish the same task – so keep checking back for new stuff.
